Murl Baker, MD
Dr. Baker was raised in Paragould, Arkansas, graduated from Hendrix College, and received his Doctor of Medicine
degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 1971. He completed his internship at Saint John's Hospital
in Tulsa, Oklahoma, served as a Navy flight surgeon from 1972-1974, and entered his otolaryngology residency at the
University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1975. He has been in private practice in the Springdale-Fayetteville area since
completion of his residency in 1979. Dr. Baker is on staff at both Northwest Medical Center - Springdale and Washington
Regional Medical Center. Dr. Baker has formerly served as chief of the medical staff at Northwest Medical
Center-Springdale. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is a fellow of
the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
