Murl Baker, MD
Dr. Baker was raised in Paragould, Arkansas, graduated from Hendrix College, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas
in Little Rock. He completed his internship at Saint John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after which he served as a Navy flight surgeon. Thereafter
he completed his otolaryngology surgical residency training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He has been in private practice in the
Springdale-Fayetteville area since completion of his residency in 1979 and is a founding member of the Ear, Nose, & Throat Center of the Ozarks.
Dr. Baker is on staff at both Northwest Medical Center - Springdale and Washington Regional Medical Center. He has formerly served as chief of the
medical staff at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is a
fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also an adjunct clinical instructor for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr.
Baker’s practice focuses on medical otolaryngology in both children and adults.
