Michael B. Gluth, MD
A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Gluth received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science
Center in San Antonio. Thereafter, he completed an internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head
& neck surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota-including work as chief resident and instructor of otolaryngology
at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. During residency, additional focused time was spent studying diseases affecting
the ear (otopathology) in Boston at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Gluth has published several journal articles and book chapters dealing with various topics in otolaryngology-head &
neck surgery including cochlear implants. He is on staff at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, Northwest Medical
Center-Bentonville, and Washington Regional Medical Center. Dr. Gluth's practice includes the full scope conditions
involving the ear, nose, throat, head, & neck in both children and adults—with a particular interest in conditions
affecting the ear and voice.
